Preventative Maintenance
If you have not had your unit professionally cleaned in the last year you are probably overpaying on your electric bill.
Preventative maintenance is the single most important thing for any machine to run efficiently. Much like changing the oil in your car, air conditioning equipment should be cleaned on an annual basis at a bare minimum. Dirt and fibers caught in your outdoor coil will cause your compressor, the heart of the system, to operate on a much higher compression ratio. The added work being done by your unit will increase the power consumption causing a strain on your wallet.
